1) Can this hold its head up as a man quilt for a very metrosexual man? If not, what approach should I take? Loving the fabrics (and they cost a small fortune) but this has to ROCK.
2) How on god's earth am I supposed to integrate silk velvet into this without it looking so, well, amateur? I love the way it looks all mooshed up (technical term) but lets face it, it's not going to be seen like that very often...

Hopefully, others are having less of a headache in their creative spaces at Kootoyoo
LOVING the man quilt! The materials/colours look great - especially those occasional green and orange. My husbands comment was 'oh I like that...that would look great on a good piece of modern furniture'. So thats a double thumbs up from us. Neither of us is mad keen on the pink...
ReplyDeleteoooh interesting!! i think the colours are great! love those different textures and hints of bold colours!! very manly indeed
ReplyDeleteLike the man quilt, especially the different textures.
ReplyDeletePhew! Ok, so general opinion is that it's a go-er :-). And thank you Kt for harnessing an actual man's opinion LOL. Roger that on the pink, it's not actually as lairy as the photo suggests but point taken.
ReplyDeleteYep, it's a goer. This is ace.
ReplyDeleteThe colors and design are all good. Be proud it is hard to sew with different textures but the purply pink bit is a bit iffy. I hope that helps :)
ReplyDeleteReally like it Jo, but just not sure about the pinky purply fabric, looking forward to seeing all your sewing bits this wked Lucyxx
